Persepolis.com was established in 1997 to bring Iranians all around the world back together in a healthy, fun, social environment. It is a hub that connects Iranians living outside of the country to maintain their cultural ties with the homeland, and in addition maintain their relationships with friends all around the world. Our site is also designed to connect Iranians in the country with each other and those living outside of the country.

Many of the services that we provide has been very successful in achieving these goals. We host hundreds of alumni clubs for Iranian schools and universities. Over the years, these clubs have helped thousands of Iranians find their classmates around the world and reestablish those friendships. Our Matchmaker service is a healthy club that helps Iranians seeking to marry fellow Iranians find individuals that match their criteria. Many Iranians have found and married their spouses through this service. Finally our chat rooms have been very successful in creating a fun environment for visitors of all ages to find new friends and maintain their cultural ties.

Most recently we introduced several new services that will facilitate Iranians worldwide to work together on business opportunities. Every month our Yellow Pages service promotes Iranian owned businesses to hundreds of thousands of visitors to our site. Our newly developed Banner Exchange service helps Iranian web sites to increase their exposure to the Iranian surfers on the Internet.

We plan to add other services in the future that will enhance our internet community and continue to strengthen the social, cultural and business relationships of the Iranians world wide.
