Question Types
Scale
The Scale question type displays the average answer of your respondents. Each category of respondent is given its own bar to facilitate comparisons between categories. You can show any combination of these categories together.
Benefits: The scale question type is the only question type that
displays the average answer of your respondents. Scale questions can also give you the median and standard deviation values.

Multiple Choice
A
multiple choice question graph displays the percentage of respondents that choose each answer. Multiple choice question types include pull down menu, multiple choice, and check box.
Benefits: The multiple choice graph breaks your results down by the answers to the question allowing you to compare
the results grouped by each answer and for each respondent type.

Grid
Shown below is a Grid question graph in the matrix format. A grid question is a question with multiple subquestions. Each subquestion is a multiple choice type. The matrix format saves space when displaying the results. Below is the same Grid question but shown in the graph format. The graph format makes visually
comparing different categories of respondents an easier task.
Benefits: The grid question graph has two display formats allowing for versatility in displaying the output. It also allows you to break a main question down into multiple parts to see how the answers vary between the subquestions.

Rank
The Rank question matrix is shown below. A rank question asks the user to order the answers that are given from highest to lowest.
In this example, the user was asked to rank the following movies in the order of favorite to least favorite. The answer that receives the highest percentage of responses for each ranking position is highlighted with an arrow.
Benefits: The rank question type allows you to find out what your
respondents opinion is on a list of items, while the matrix of answers shown easily allows you to find which answer was the most popular for each position in the list.

Text
The text answer is shown below. Text answers include three question types: short text answers, long text answers, and numeric answers. This question type also has two ways to view its results. The window display
allows you to save space when viewing long text answers. You can scroll through all the responses in order to read the answers. If you would like to view all the answers without having to scroll in a window, you can simply
change the display to extended text display, shown below.
Benefits: Having two different display types allows for more choice when printing your results. Text questions allow the respondents to explain in more detail than just choosing
from a predefined list of answers.
