Show Answers

The Show Answers box allows you to choose which respondents' results you'd like to view on your graphs.   Each checkbox represents a group of respondents whose answers are comparable with the other categories of respondents.  Each category is colored coded representing the colors displayed on the results graphs.  For each box you check off in this section, you will see the responses for that category of respondent displayed in that color in the results.  
Benefits: The ability to compare different groups of respondents against each other gives you unparalleled insight into your survey's results. Comparisons can be used to benchmark results of any segment of your respondents against others, and it will even allow you to compare your results against all the other companies that have used the same question in a similar context.


Results Format

The Results Format box allows you to change how the results are displayed.  There are three options.  1) Text questions can be shown outside or in a scrollable window; 2) Scale questions can show or hide the median and standard deviation values; 3) All graphs can switch between showing the percentage of respondents, the actual value of the number of respondents who responded with a certain answer, or both. 
Benefits: The customizable display of your results lets you have complete control over what information is displayed and how they are presented.


Update All Question Types' Charts At Once

This section of the graph controls allows you to quickly change the look of your results by changing the chart type display for one or more groups of questions.  Simply choose the chart type you would like for a question type and after you click Update all results for that question type will be updated to display the new chart type.  You can also fine tune the appearance of your results at the question level by using the pull down menu after each question in your results page.  This will set the chart type for one question only.
Benefits: The ability to change and update which chart is used to display the results of your survey allows you to form that is most appropriate for the type of question and it will allow you to communicate this knowledge in the most impactful manner.


Navigation

The Navigation section allows you to jump to various areas related to your survey results.  You can refresh the page to show all sections, or just one section in your survey.  You can also go to the help page (Help Understanding Your Results), the exporting page (Download Result Data as CSV or Text), or the filtering page (Result Filters and Advanced Options).  After making any changes in the Graph Controls area, the Update Settings button will redisplay the page with your changes.  The Printable Version button will return a page in a printer friendly format - without the Graph Control Panel section.
Benefits: The ability to quickly navigate around will save you time and effort.
